Entry Requirements

Applicants must hold an MBBS, B.Sc in Nursing, Physiotherapy, or equivalent degree. The program is also open to non-medical graduates with an MA in Social Sciences, M.Sc in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Health Economics, Nutrition, Home Economics, or related fields, provided they have at least a second-class degree or a CGPA of 2.50.

Additional qualifications beyond the minimum requirement may be credited at the discretion of the Academic Council, ensuring recognition of prior learning and professional experience.

Course Structure

  • Core Public Health Courses: 7 courses (20 credits)
  • Elective Courses: 5–6 courses (15 credits)
  • Field Practicum/Attachment: 1 course (7 credits)
  • Dissertation: 1 course (14 credits)

Total: 36–37 credits

  • Most core and elective courses are completed in the first two semesters.
