Social Welfare
The Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering is committed to improving community health and advancing social welfare through science, innovation, and compassionate service. Our students and faculty engage in outreach programs focused on disease prevention, health education, diagnostic camps, and support for underserved populations.
By applying biomedical knowledge to real-world public health challenges, we empower communities with access to vital health information, early screening, and awareness campaigns on diabetes, hypertension, infectious diseases, and maternal health.
Program Objectives
- Promote health equity by delivering biomedical services to marginalized communities.
- Train future healthcare leaders in ethical, community-centered practices.
- Raise awareness about preventable diseases through education and screening initiatives.
- Strengthen public health infrastructure through partnerships with clinics, NGOs, and government agencies.
